Due to tighter legislation in Germany, the location of the WCG 2008 Grand Final, Entrants to the 2008 Games will have to comply with the games USK age rating.
We understand this may cause disappointment for some people, however it has been made clear that no exceptions will be made for foreign players when it comes to the Grand Final.

After the dust settled in the Warcraft III final, the Swedish hopeful
SaSe was defeated by the lower bracket Ukrainian
HoT, defying the Sweeds from their second Gold Medal and ensuring the UK Team the crown of European Champions! Hats off to the UK Team for a great victory at the Samsung European Championships! Final Medal Tables will follow, along with photos of the closing ceremony.
After two very close matches which were both forced into the second consolidation set,
Apollo and
Gruntdude have won the UK two Gold Medals in the Samsung European Championships!
Apollo came from the upper bracket of the Command and Conquer 3 tournament beating
Xeon from Germany in a (1-2) (2-1) heartstopper, while
Gruntdude beat the Swedish player
Skatenmilla after losing to him in the upper final and winning the two sets (0-3, 2-3, 3-0, 3-2, 2-3) and (3-1, 2-3, 1-3, 2-3). Two gold medals is unprecedented in UK WCG history, and shows the continent the UK is indeed in the upper eschelon of international e-sports. Congratulations to

Gruntdude is now playing in the Grand Final against
