The World Cyber Games 2007 have come to a close, with USA receiving the top award. The UK came 6th overall in the competition.
The UK were awarded with three medals, a gold, silver and bronze in C&C3, THP8 and GoW respectively.

Things are coming to a close here at Qwest Field in Seattle, location of the World Cyber Games 2007 Grand Finals, with the prize giving ceremony just over an hour away.
Team UK will be picking up three medals at the ceremony, one in each colour - gold, silver and bronze.

What a play-off! The battle for third place between Infused-Gaming and Malice was so tension filled, Wizzo nearly had a heart attack as he stood by watching the UK team, who eventually secured the bronze medal for the UK and $8,000.

Apollooo had a convincing win over xeon in their Grand Final match here in Seattle to secure himself the gold medal, a cool $12,000 and the crown as the world C&C3 champion!

Zaccubus has won the silver medal in the WCG2007 THP8 competition, missing out on the top spot to DuVal_AK47. The match was played live on the Cyberspace I & Cyberspace II stages here at the Qwest Field Event Centre.

Infused-Gaming lost out on going through to the Grand Final this morning, in 2 rounds against InFiNiTy. The scores from the two rounds were 5-4, 5-2 to the American’s.
They will face Malice in the 3rd place play off this afternoon at 15:30 PDT (23:30 BST).

An excellent performance by Apollooo saw him secure a place in the Grand Final of WCG2007 by beating Dackel.
