The World Cyber Games 2007 have come to a close, with USA receiving the top award. The UK came 6th overall in the competition.
The UK were awarded with three medals, a gold, silver and bronze in C&C3, THP8 and GoW respectively.

Things are coming to a close here at Qwest Field in Seattle, location of the World Cyber Games 2007 Grand Finals, with the prize giving ceremony just over an hour away.
Team UK will be picking up three medals at the ceremony, one in each colour - gold, silver and bronze.

Sat in the comfort of my beanbag at the CyberStages I watched Apollooo make a great start to his Final match.

Apollooo had a convincing win over xeon in their Grand Final match here in Seattle to secure himself the gold medal, a cool $12,000 and the crown as the world C&C3 champion!

It’s the last day of the WCG2007 here at the Qwest Field Event Centre in Seattle and the UK have at least 3 matches left to play in GoW, THP8 and C&C3 - 2 of them fighting for Gold in Grand Finals!

Some fantastic news from Qwest Field in Seattle today; Team UK are through to the Grand Final with Zaccubus in THP8 and Apollooo in C&C3! GoW is also looking promising for Infused-Gaming, although the semi-finals are still to play.

I go for a quick look see, up to the secure players only tourny area. I find Wizzo watching over the shoulder of our man Apollooo as he hands out another good thrasing.

An excellent performance by Apollooo saw him secure a place in the Grand Final of WCG2007 by beating Dackel.
He will now go on to face another German, xeon in the final, due to be played tomorrow at 15:00 PDT (23:00 BST), which will be shown on Cyberspace I & Cyberspace II in the venue, [...]

Apollooo is leaving a blazing trial behind him, making short work of Dragonfood. He will now face Dackel in the semi finals of C&C3!

Apollooo has just trounced LeOwNzAll to move on to the last 8 of C&C3. He will most likely face Dragonfood at 12:30 PDT (20:30 BST).
