Having won all of his matches, he is now out of the group stage and into the elimination phase.

Later today he will face off against black_mamba at 14:30 local time (22:30 BST). The US player from Group D played against Canada, Japan, Switzerland, Italy and Australia to progress to the elimination bracket, winning 4 out of 5 of his matches.

Should GruntDude be successful in Round 8, he may go on to play his semi-final match on stage later this afternoon, which will be broadcast live on WCG TV at ~16:30 (00:30 BST).
