Day 4 Match Schedule

It’s the last day of the WCG2007 here at the Qwest Field Event Centre in Seattle and the UK have at least 3 matches left to play in GoW, THP8 and C&C3 - 2 of them fighting for Gold in  Grand Finals!

Gears of War

Gears of War is back on schedule, with the semi-finals for that being played this morning. The lads from Infused-Gaming will be up against the InFiNiTy at 11:30 PDT (19:30 BST), where they will be looking to continue their unbeaten streak in the tournament so far. The US team won’t be a walk in the park though, they too have won all of their matches so far and will be the toughest opponent they have faced.

If the Brits are successful, they will go on to face either QualityGaming or Malice in the final at 13:30 PDT (21:30 BST).

Infused-Gaming have already met Malice in the group stages of GoW, where they won convincingly. QualityGaming have played one less match over all, coming from the smaller Group C.

Tony Hawk’s Project 8

In THP8 Zaccubus will be looking to skate all over DuVaL_AK47 to take Gold in the Grand Final of THP8. The 3rd place play-off has already taken place with plan-B_WC_Ente taking the Bronze.

Zaccubus has already faced the Yank in the group stage of this tournament, where he lost and will be looking to better his performence this time around. The final kicks off at 13:00 PDT (21:00 BST).

Command & Conquer 3 

Apollooo is also in a Gold/Silver battle today against xeon, scheduled to start at 15:00 PDT (23:00 BST). Apollooo has already beaten two of the German team in the C&C tournament so far and you can bet the German #4 will be trying to prove they’re not all a bunch of pansies!
