UK Team take home Three Medals

Things are coming to a close here at Qwest Field in Seattle, location of the World Cyber Games 2007 Grand Finals, with the prize giving ceremony just over an hour away.

Team UK will be picking up three medals at the ceremony, one in each colour - gold, silver and bronze.

Apollooo will be picking up the UK’s first gold following his convincing win in the Command & Conquer 3 tournament, proving he is the world’s greatest Tiberium Warlord.

Zaccubus secured a silver medal in Tony Hawk’s Project 8 and Infused-Gaming will be completing the triangle with a fiercly fought bronze in the Gears of War tournament.

Alongside the official WCG competitions Samsung have been running a mobile gaming competition seeing  Moyes coming in the top 8, and ChrisY just missing out on third.
