Offical Titles Announced for WCG 2008

The official titles for the World Cyber Games 2008 have been chosen and announced on the official WCG website. They feature the usual mix of PC and XBOX games with many titles returning for another year and a couple of interesting additions.

For PC the games are:

• 1v1 WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne
• 1v1 StarCraft: Brood War
• 1v1 FIFA Soccer 08
• 5v5 Half-Life: Counter-Strike
• 1v1 Command & Conquer: Kane’s Wrath
• 1v1 Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties
• 1v1 Carom3D
• 4v4 Red Stone
• 1v1 Need for Speed ProStreet

On the XBOX 360 we have:

• 4v4 HALO 3
• 1v1 Project Gotham Racing 4
• 1v1 Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock
• 1v1 Virtua Fighter 5 Online

An announcement will follow with which of these titles will be being picked up by the UK team, as well as more information on the dates and locations of qualifiers and the National Final.
